Introducing Pyron on Fogo

What is Pyron?
Pyron is the asset productivity layer of Fogo. At its core, it is a composable, efficient, and scalable lending and borrowing protocol built natively for Fogo’s high-speed architecture.
Users can supply supported assets to earn interest or use them as collateral to borrow other assets.
By integrating directly with Fogo’s infrastructure, Pyron benefits from low latency and
fast execution, enabling real-time lending operations without off-chain intermediaries.
Why Fogo?
Fogo isn’t a general-purpose chain. It’s built for performance, with Firedancer, colocated validators, and a real-time architecture that makes DeFi execution feel instant.
That’s why Pyron chose it. By building directly on Fogo, Pyron avoids the usual latency, bloat, and UX lag of other chains. Instead, users get fast, native execution and builders get a clean, composable foundation.
What does Pyron unlock?
- On-chain execution with low latency
- Lending with asset-specific risk parameters
- Compatibility with other on-chain strategies and contracts
- Transparent and verifiable protocol logic
Whether you’re a trader, LP, or strategy builder, Pyron is built to keep up.
The goal of Pyron
The goal of Pyron is simple: unlock dormant capital across the Fogo ecosystem and make it productive.
Through Pyron, users, traders, and other protocols gain the ability to borrow against assets, generate passive yield, and compose more advanced financial strategies across DeFi.
The product is modular in structure and protocol-first in design. Pyron maintains flexible risk parameters
across supported assets and introduces tiers to classify collateral quality. Oracles are used conservatively, with price feeds monitored for freshness, volatility, and confidence windows.
Every market is managed individually, and asset behavior is treated independently, allowing agile control and risk isolation.
Every interaction is permissionless and handled on-chain with health factor, liquidation logic, and interest rate modeling fully automated.
Pyron is Fogo-native by design and optimized for those who intend to move faster than the rules were written.
It is not a port or a wrapper, but a protocol built directly for Fogo.
In Summary
Pyron is a regular Borrow/Lend service, enhanced by Fogo’s speed and native design.
